That is when you turn around and say something threatening like, "I will have you thrown out of this theater if you keep kicking my chair". I'd say it even if the parent or their teenage friends were sitting right beside them. You didnt pay to be nuisanced.

I find it worse when the parents don't bother to stop them.

Turn around and wave your hands in the kids face (I'm not touching you!) and see how they and their parents are annoyed.
