People who claim that the only reason they get bikini waxes is because shaving causes them irritation.

... but why is this a problem? What is their "real" reason for getting a bikini wax, then?

I don't get it...what's so wrong? That's the only reason why I would ever get one...did that just piss you off?

Presumably the real reason is because it is socially expected - if your skin is really sensitive wouldn't having hot wax applied and then tearing out the hair also inflame it

The real reason is that the waxer's lover -- and society -- wants their labia to look like Jon Binet Ramsey's (before she died).

Actually, to Gen's point, no. The shaving causes irritation when the hair is growing back out not when actual shaving is happening. Hence bikini waxes which don't...and btw, they can just be regular bikini waxes and not brazilians, aka JonBenet Ramseys. So I REALLY do get them because of skin irritation. Sorry to annoy you.

Why do you care what I do with my hair? And yeah, I do get a ton of red painful bumps a couple days after I've shaved. With waxing, not so much.
