When a gas station slows a pump down too early.

When I put $20 on pump 3, you don't need to start slowing the pump down when it hits $19.30. I am fully capable of stopping the pump in time if you slow it down at $19.90. Are you trying to make me impatient enough to just quit and you'll make a whopping 30 extra cents?

I am SO with you on this one! It is incredibly annoying and seems distrustful.

I used to work at a gas station, and the cashier doesn't actually slow down the pump. Most stations have a sort of timer or other thing to sense when it's getting close, to slow it down. It's usually about 50-70 cents before you hit the limit.
