People who assume that instead of us each ordering a dessert (or a side-dish), we should split one between us.

Hell, I want my own dessert, and I don't want to have to decide on something we both like. And I definitely don't want to share! My dessert, not yours!

Yes! The worst culprits are women, when we all go out to dinner and one decides we should each order something different and then all "nibble" at each one. Just let me order the dessert I want and leave me the hell alone!

This is the worst! And there is no way out, because you don't want to seem gluttonous by refusing to share a dessert and insisting on getting your own. Also, these people are always the types to want the fruit cup with a mint sprig, leaving you drooling for the chocolate cake and ice cream.

But I just want a BITE! Just one (two, three, fourteen) bite(s)! I do this to my husband all the time. All. The. Time. His dessert = MY DESSERT! I'm so ashamed.
