When people ask me if I work at my place of work!
I get this all the time! I'm standing behind the counter, folding merchandise wearing my lanyard, and people still come up and ask me "Do you work here?"

Noticing that you repeatedly use certain phrases, but being unable to stop yourself from doing it.
I teach at a local college and realize that before each example problem I do on the board I say, "Let's say that..." I notice it every time I say it, and I'm sure my students do as well. However, somehow I can't stop doing it! (The sad thing is that this is only one such phrase.)

I’ve added two features to the sidebar: Highest Rating and Hotly Debated. They will be updated daily. To my surprise, the ketchup-in-fridge peeve seemed to really incite some anger — it’s clearly a complex situation that affects us all.

It should be noted that the star ratings indicate how much you agree with, or appreciate, the peeve, not how you feel when it happens.

I will be adding a Paragon Peeves section as well, for my and my friends’ personal favorites.
