The fact that cats and dogs go out of their way to eat things that can kill them.
Even for a small brained mammal, eating a bag of tinsel or a box of snail poison is just stupid. It can't really be called accidental either.

Forced pet appreciation.
"Look at Fufu! Look at Fufu! She's so cute -- yes she is -- she's so cute." It's an awkward moment when you don't agree about the cuteness.

Pet owners who dress their pets in human like clothing as if it will make a non-civilized animal any more human like.
Yeah, smart move by making your pet look seriously uncomfortable and wasting dear money on crap that doesn't need to be produced in the first place. Ok, honestly, this isn't truly one of my peeves, but Jay Leno says this is one of his, and I somewhat agree. I felt it needed to be added.

Cats as villains
I hate the stereotype of cats as evil, menacing, conniving, lazy and vicious. For example: the cats in "Lady and the Tramp," Asriel from "The Smurfs," the cat in "Babe," and the cat in Stuart Little.

One cat is "such a bitch" (because its sitting on the bed that she isn't permitted on). The other one is "a sweetheart" (because she likes string?)

Acting surprised by your dog's bad behavior.
Give me a break! Unless it's 2 days old, the dog has done it before. People who don't give their dog enough time to shit bug me too.

Single = Anomaly? » You forgot the cats in that litany of cliches. Even if her only standard is having mutual lovey-dovey feelings with someone, this either happens or it doesn't, there's no forcing it. Those who spout "you're not trying hard enough" and "you're too picky" does not seem to understand this. Maybe she simply means that she would be settling if she married just to meet people's expectations, since she hasn't met someone she loves who loves her back. NOT that everyone who is married is settling. – B. Alexander 8/27

On a coat, or a skirt, with a slit, the manufacturer will sew the slit closed with a small X of thread, and people are too stupid to realize they're meant to be removed. So they walk around with their vents sewn closed, and I want to run up to them and snip the threads off and then loudly shame them in public. I don't know how I've managed to restrain myself. » Hee, seems like some people actually don't know they can snip those. If you approach them nicely, maybe they will let you snip it for them. – B. With skull phones just around the corner, it’s likely these peeves will soon become irrelevant—so let’s spray them across the galaxy while we still can.
